Description
HNBR diaphragm depend upon the acrylonitrile content and the degree of hydrogenation of the butadiene copolymer. HNBRs have better oil and chemical resistance.
Hydrogenated acrylonitrile butadiene rubber (HNBR) can be produced from conventional nitrile rubber by hydrogenation of the unsaturated bonds in the butadiene units of the polymer. The properties of HNBR diaphragm depend upon the acrylonitrile content and the degree of hydrogenation of the butadiene copolymer. HNBRs have better oil and chemical resistance than nitrile rubbers and can also withstand much higher temperatures.
Below Variants are available
• Nylon inserted HNBR diaphragms-both single and double fabric layers can be inserted
• Kevlar inserted HNBR diaphragms-both single and double fabric layers can be inserted
• PTFE/Teflon coated HNBR diaphragms
• Rubber to metal bonded HNBR diaphragms
• Customized HNBR rubber diaphragms as per customer’s drawings/specifications
• HELIX manufactures HNBR diaphragms in all sizes from 1 mm to 1000 mm in diameters
• HELIX’S HNBR material diaphragms have excellent heat resistance up to 175°C
• HELIX’S HNBR diaphragms are available in all colours
